Vermont Morning
On the way to breakfast at the Camp Ohana's main lodge. I shot a wedding there in late September and felt lucky in so many ways- beautiful location, friendly guests, an exceptionally wonderful and thoughtful bride and groom, had a little college reunion and was able to photograph it all alongside my talented and caring boyfriend (who took this photo).

Toby
I've been lucky enough to know Toby since we students at Wesleyan and over the last 8 YEARS we've co-photo-edited the college newspaper, survived late nights in the darkroom, seen each others 1st (2nd...3rd...) New York City apartments, worked for fashion photographers, been on a never-ending quest for a reasonably priced post-work cocktail in Soho, spent the bulk of our 20's in New York and are now BOTH in San Francisco!
Toby's recent move to SF is not only an enormous friend triumph, it's also a huge boost for my personal photography, because Toby has always been a willing and excellent subject. I recently went through my archives to find just a few of the shots of taken of her over the years, and am so excited to have the chance to take more now that we're back in the same city.

Third Rail
Third Rail is a cozy cocktail bar less than a minute's walk from my house, which is wonderful and dangerous at the same time. They have a fantastic menu, which is cleverly divided into "Seasonal", "Citrus" and "Spiritous".

Back to Holman Ranch!
I returned to Holman Ranch yesteday to photograph another wedding and was reminded of one of my favorites from last year- Danaka and Jason's celebration, shot with Edyta Szyszlo. It's always a beautiful day at Holman and I can't wait to go through all of yesterday's shots.
