A rare weekend day with no plans has allowed us to be tourists in our own neighborhood and I’m very into these Berkeley side streets
Baby’s first trip to SF to take in some culture on a rainy day. She didn’t scream in the galleries and all had a meal in the cafe so I’d call that a big success.
This shot of these guests at a wedding in geyserville last year is still lingering with me
New year, new silhouette, same deep appreciation for this corner of the country
Been sitting in the same spot in the same room many times a day for 2 months (my baby takes her time with meals), which has meant lots of time looking out this window, thinking about growth.
I’m not always on board with the trend of putting animal ears on every baby hood, but this is pretty damn convincing
Inhale, exhale, taking it all in. Already plotting how to make a return here an annual thing.
Do people ever get tired of eating breakfast in a nook with this view? It’s hard to imagine
Dragged these two all the way out to Northern California from DC for exactly this bluffside walk
We passed through a car commercial on the way to the coast
It’s been one of the highlights of my year to shoot for @beingoodcompany, especially while working on becoming a mom myself. And what a thrill to see my images from their conference in print in this month’s @sfmagazine, accompanying a much-deserved feature on @Kati ehintzzambrano! Thanks @jodinakatsuka for the feature and break in the kiddo gear home takeover.
@noahchristman and I met this little one just after midnight on Nov 10 and what a humbling, unique, awesome, tiring, whirlwind of a month it’s been. Tallulah was born tiny but mighty and already seems so much bigger today than when she grabbed Dad’s hands a couple weeks ago.
Voted by mail for the first time last week, not knowing when this little one would arrive. But today we find ourselves waiting on a whole number of things that will effect our future. If you haven’t already, get out there and VOTE!
Life this past month has been dominated by getting our newish apartment ready and desperately trying to finish editing before everything is turned upside down. Which doesn’t exactly lend itself to many gram-worthy shots, til I step back and appreciate this place where I spend so much time. Possible next series: Desktop Chaos: Ruminations on whether creating small piles can be considered cleaning.
I can’t say I’m in favor of a lot of the 90s fashion coming back these days (let’s let those ribbed striped shirts from Delia’s stay buried), but @jenibrittonbauer makes a strong case for the return of the scrunchie. Apparently it works best if it subtly matches your awesome hair color. @beingoodcompany #scoutingfashionwhileshooting
Rare shot of me behind the camera, this time with a little more weight in front. Thanks @katiehintzzambrano for the shot, I love that this little girl will know how her mom pursued a career she loved while growing our family.
